Rising from Disaster:
Water Exploration Initiatives in the Aftermath of the Donggala District Earthquake and Liquefaction (2018)

In the aftermath of the disaster, I was part of a team of hydrogeologists tasked with assessing groundwater availability in Donggala District. Through field surveys and geospatial analysis, we identified potential aquifers and conducted test drilling to determine water quality and yield. By leveraging scientific expertise and local knowledge, we were able to establish decentralized water distribution points, providing a lifeline for communities isolated by the disaster's impact.
